    and on the spot the girl fell dead. After a while she appeared to the man who she was to get married to.
    She gave him a black knife and she told him that if he would strike here with the knife at "Sraigh Gap," he would marry her. On the next night he was at "Shraigh Gap" waiting for the lady, but he saw her riding a horse. He did not strike her so it is said that the horsemen came out of Greyfort. In Mr Murren's field there is a fort. It is said that there are lights to be seen there at eleven o' clock every night.
