Marks are to be seen on some of the trees still. There is a story told in connection with this graveyard. One night two boys were returning after attending a cileidhe. They met a man at this graveyard. It had been a beautiful bright night up to that but just as they met him a shadow enveloped them with the result that they could not find their way home until morning.
