- (continued from previous page)is the ruins of an old building. It is said by the old people in the townland to be the ruins of an old monastery.
There was a number of monks said to have lived there in years gone by.
Most of the houses around the place are thatched and some of them are built over a hundred years.
Keash hill can be seen from here. "Cnoc na Side" and "Cnoc na Riog" can be seen also at a distance. There are two small woods at a little distance from here and there is a lake known as Templehouse Lake on the Owen Mór river about two miles from here. It is a very pretty place around the lake.- Collector
