    He was supposed to have a cure for sore feet because he never wore any shoes. A man once asked him why he never wore shoes and he told him he could not walk in them.
    Long ago the people called the shoes that had wooden soles "brogs". A person who had large feet was called "crubin".
    I heard this story from an old woman named Mrs Davey, Carnaree.
