- Very few marriages take place in this district.
Weeks before a marriage the people are all very busy cleaning and making ready for the great day. Most people get married on a Wednsday or Sunday. Old people say these two days are the luckiest for getting married.
That night a great feast takes place in the house of the bride. All the friends gather in and there is great feasting and music and dancing.
