    place gathering "rags" feathers, and old metals. Those were called "rag men"
    In those days the old people had certain days for transacting business which they thought to be lucky. There were other classes of people going about from place to place called "Pedlars" This class were selling articles. Some of those were very poor. Some of them had ols "caravans" drawn by horses. They stayed about a fortnight in every district and during that period they tracelled the district.
    There were other people going about called "dealers." They mostly bought old houses and donkeys.
