    two thieves. They were out looking for cattle or sheep, so that they would kill them and eat them. They had two big dogs. The breed of the dogs were bloodhounds. Those dogs drank the blood of the animals when they were killed. When the sons came in they had two big cows killed. When they arrived the old man told them that a spy had come and that he was in the bed. The sons told the old man to go up to bed and to get inside the man and put him out to the edge of the bed. The man pretended to be asleep but he was not. When the man got the old man asleep he went in beyond him. Then the old man was on the edge. When the sons had the cows cleaned and ready for eating they went up in the room to kill the spy. They took a little hatchet with them, and when they went up they hit the spy as they thought on the head and killed him. Then they took him out of
