  2. Once upon a time there was a parson in Gurteen. He was driving along the road one day with a horse and cart. The night before was very windy and it felled a tree. The tree happened to fall across the road. When the parson came to it he told his boy to go down and remove the tree. The boy got down and he asked the parson where he would throw it and the parson told
