- If the wind blows South West it is a sign of rain.
If it blows North there will be snow.
If it blows East it is a sign of good weather.
If the seagulls are seen inland it is a sign of storm, also if the birds fly low.
If the clouds are low & heavy looking it is a sign of rain.
If the sky is clear and not many clouds it is the sign of good weather.
If the sun sets very red in Summer it's a sign the following day will be warm.
If the sky looks copper-colour in the West it's a sign of rain.
If a rainbow appears in the sky it's a sign of rain.
If the clouds look like small bags of wool it's a sign of a storm.
If the clouds look heavy and very large it's a sign of snow.
If the cattle graze on the top of the hill in the morning it's a sign the day will be fine.
