    great castle and he pretended to find some fault with it, and he said that if he had a certain tool that was at home in his house he could mend it. He then said he would go home for it but they wouldn't let him go.
    so he said he would let his own son home for it if the chieftain would let him go and if he would let his own son go along with him. They agreed to let the two boys for the tool. The "goban Saor" sent a note to his wife telling her the sort the tool was.
    He also told her how they intended to kill in England, but he wrote this in Irish. When the boys landed in Ireland they were welcomed and the Gobans wife kept them for a few days. When they were ready to go back, she called the chieftains son and told him she would give him the
