    Continued,
always put a stone in a box for every Sunday he went to mass. He went for years except one Sunday, he was not feeling well that day, so he said that he would stay at home, and say his prayers as good as if he was at mass.
He put a stone in the box that day also, when he was getting old he said that he would count the stones in the box. When he looked at in the box he found that there was only one stone in the box. The stone was in it for the day he did not go to mass because that was the only day he said his prayers well.
