- The following story is told of a water horse that lived in a sea and was one day out eating the grass that grew by the side of the sea.
There was a man ploughing near by with one horse. He went and got the horse traced on to the plough along with the other one and ploughed all day. At night when he had his lunch and had fed the horses he took off the harness off the horse and brought him down to the sea, he struck the horse with the reins before he let him go. When he did so the horse opened its mouth and dragged him into the sea. It would never be known what happened to the man but some neighbouring person was near by that saw what had(continues on next page)- Collector
