    Holly + Ivy are put up in every house but must be taken down the day after the Twelfth Day otherwise illluck will follow. If a piece of holly falls at night time it foretells a disappointment of a monetary nature. Holly should be burned and the ashes scattered on the land to produce a good crop.
    Most of the old people fasted from meat on St Stephen's Day in order to have good health for the Year to come
