    until 8 o clock the following morning.
    Again she got lodgings and welcome and before leaving in the morning she got the usual lunch together with soap, on which was stuck a needle and thread "Take that with you" said the woman "You might want it and do not lose it."
    He then brought her to a high mountain and said "You will see me no more, go home and on your way get lodgings in the same houses in my name."
    She did as he bade and retraced her steps lamenting. Undaunted however she employed carpenters to make ladders with the aid of which she could climb the mountain.
    The money was now nearly exhausted, but after a few days she succeeded in reaching the top of the mountain.
    On arriving on top she saw the most beautiful land in the world. all of which belonged to an old witch, who was responsible for the lawful owners shape (The Green Bear of Orange) whenever he left his own country. He was under a spell until he returned.
    The girl marvelling at the beauties which surrounded her walked along until she came to a cottage which belonged to the old hag.
