    Henry Mooney Castlemarket Attanagh Co. Kilkenny are old too. There are two or three broken down houses in the townland. At present a lot of people are emigrating to England to seek employment. There are no hills in Castlemarket but there are hills around it. There is one stream running beside it which separates two counties Kilkenny and Leix. Its name being the Disheen so called because the English for it means scissors or shears.
