    My Home District.
    The name of our townland is Tullycroman and the name of the parish is Tydavnet.There are five families in our townland.The names of these people are McKenna,Plunkett,Magee,McKearney and Heasty.There are five slated houses and one with a corriegated iron roof.
    In the townland next to ours there were people a number of years ago who were priest hunters.Their name was Hamilton.The most noted of the Hamiltons was Dacre Hamilton.The name of their townland is Cornacassa.
