    The lucky day of the week is Friday. The unlucky day of the month is the thirteenth. If you begin work on a Good Friday it will be lucky, such as house-building, digging, potatoes, or ploughing or moving (flitting) from one house to another. It is said if you plant everlasting sweetpea in a month that there is an 'r' in the spelling (such as September) it will grow.
