    both made and repaired churns. Churns were of different sizes and were bought according to the number of cows. There were one cow churns, two cow churns, three cow churns and so on.
    The butter made by our ancestors has never been surpassed. There were hogsheads - resembling a tub only not so wide - and the butter was packed tightly in this. When quite full the lid was pressed down air-tight. It might take two or three months to fill one of these hogsheads. The hogshead was taken to the market and sold.
