Thug sé an chéad leath-phingne ar dhearmhad bean 'a tighe, sé sin, go bhrághfad bean a' tighe bainne fé n-a bhrághaid, an dara leath-phinginn ar radarc san oidhche, agus treas leath-phinghinn ar leabaidh, deas, chluthar i gcomhnuidhe.
    Nach maith ar chrích a chuir sé ortha, agus nách aige a bhí an chiall! Tá na nidhte sin aige riamh ó shoin.
