    as it is vulgarly supposed of some of the giant race. We however, think otherwise. Its name is Leaba na Cuanna. Leaba means a stretch and Cuanna means of a hill. E G. The dancing part of the hill. The pagan rites and ceremonies usually culminated with a dance. To such no doubt this portion of the hill was consecrated. South-west of Carriganang another Cromlech remains. Supported by three other large upright stones the horizontal slab is five feet from the ground
    These Cromlechs are so called from 'Crom" bent or inclined and 'Leach' a stone. Underneath them not alone skeletons but urns containing burned bones have been often found.
