  1. A Funny Story

There was an old character who lived in Kilkenny by the name of Jim Hudson.
He was very fond of Smithwick's Ale. He had no money one day. His wife sent him down the town for a 1/2 lb steak and gave him sixpence. He spent the sixpence on the Ale. On coming home he rapped a stone in a piece of brown paper and placed it on the dresser, and went out into the garden. His wife on going to prepare the dinner discovered she had only a stone. She called out to him "Jim this is only a stone."
