    And, Maureen, dearest tendrest one
    With voice so light and thrilling

    Through valleys and over rivulets
    The fairest ever seen.
    How sweet the pretty violets look.
    Along the ditches linin'
    The summer's day when all more gay
    At the Pattern of the Dinan.

    Sweet music burst in rhapsody
    As near the place we come
    And laughter peals betoken.
    That the fun has just begun.
