    discouraged by his physical handicap, but made the best of it. He did not mind being stared at when travelling, and he travelled a great deal of the wourld. He even hunted on horse-back, sitting on a "saddl-chair" which was strapped firmly to the horses back. He could write very legibly by catching the handle of the pen between his teeth.
