- There is a road called the "Green Road". It is about three miles long and leads from Tinnahinch Bridge, to Capard Wood. It is called the "Green Road" as there is a large patch of green grass v shaped on part of it. There are also many green trees and foliage on both sides. It is a very nice road for tourists to travel in Summer time, as the scenery is very picturesque. The River Barrow flows down beside it for some distance. Many years ago when the river was flooded,it very often cut away portion of the road. A fine concrete wall is erected now as a protection against the floods.
