    east of the Abbey was built between the years 1189-1272.

    17. Canice's Well. Is in the Pigeon Park 200 yds south-west of the Abbey and a little to the rere of Bolger's house.
    18. Canice's Bush is in the Crossfield, a quarter of a mile from the Abbey.
    20. Canice's cross is very remarkable in Aghaboe. It is 30 ft long and 20 inches wide and two ins in depth.
    35. Farren Eglish. There was a church here which must have served as a chapel.of-ease to Aghaboe
