is the next person to repeat the rhyme. Giving round the ring is played by boys and girls sitting around the fire while another person gives a ring secretly to some person in the crowd. The giver of the ring then asks who has the ring and the children get some punishment until they answer correctly. Cock in the corner is played in almost the same way. These are the chief games by which we amuse ourselves in this locality and we find great pleasure in playing them.
