  1. November's nigh causes great excitement among the wee folk for they have great sport ducking for apples and money put by others into the tub.
    It falls on the last night of October. On that night the neighbours gather to a certain house. A tub is procured and is put on the middle of the floor full of water. Then an apple is put in it. People duck for the apple who ever gets the apple keeps it.
    Another game is to tie a twine from the ceiling
