    Some of the houses long ago had only one large room others had two or three rooms, there were no more than three rooms in any house no matter how large the family was.
    When the walls which were two and a half feet in thickness were made of mud of little stones, round sticks were put on for rafters. Then branches were put in between to hold up the bog scraws which were put on after.
