- In the olden times the old people were very well able to give cures.A man whose name was Mr. O Donovan who lived in Inchinagotegh used pull the herbs out of fields and make medicine from them for the people and for the animals.He made medicine out of the following - : wild-sage, Bisom, cosdubh and [dandaline]. dandelionAll these made very good medicine. The Wild-sage and Bisom was excellent medicines, it cured many people from rheumatism.The dandaline and the cosdubh was for healing burns.The cures he had for the animals(continues on next page)
