- (continued from previous page)Six families live in our village. There are four thatched and two slated houses. The most common name in our village is Fallon. There are thirty people in our village.
The old people do not know how our village got it's name. The do not know the meaning of the word Lisnagabra. There were seven houses in our village long ago. There are only six houses in it now. One of them is in ruins. The people that were living in it are dead.
The townland is not mentioned in any song or saying that I heard of. Some of the land in our district is very good. The rest of it is some boggy and some rocky land. The lake beside our village is called Lough Croan. there are no stories about the Lough.
