The type of birds common to our district are the blackbird, crow, starlings, pidgeon, robin, jackdaw, magpue, thrush, curlew, wren, wild duck, wild goose , swan, lark, pheasant, partridge, snipe, yellowhammer, canary, water hen, crane, goldfinch, willy-wag-tail, green linnet, chaffinch, tomtit, grey plover, teal, widgeon, hawk, sparrow, ball coot.
    The wild geese, swallows and corncrake migrate.
    The blackbird builds her nest in low bushes. the crow builds her nest
