    We have eight cows in our farm, and each of them has a name.

    We have eight cows in our farm, and each of them has a name. Their names are:- "Blackeen", Kerry, Reddy, Starry, Cronie, Cuby, Culie and Bánie. Most of them are called after their colours or the way their horns are shaped.
    The food which the cows got was hay oats and sometimes ground furze. If they were fattening a cow, they would cut hay and put it into tubs or boxes. Then we shake meal on the hay, and scald it with a kettle of boiling water. It is given to the cow every morning and evening.
