  1. Mass was also said Due South of this school during the P. Laws in a place called "Coom a tSagairt." It is exactly about 2 miles from the school.
    Old people say that many used to cross the hills from Coosane Maughanaclea each Sunday to attend Mass there. It is said the Penal laws there was only "one Mass for the Parish" and that Mass was celebrated in a different place each Sunday.
    Mass was also said in (special) houses among very inclement weather. House are not known however.
