In the morning the woman of the house called him and on getting no answer she went into his room and found him dead in bed.
He was all black and could hardly be recognized. It is said that the spirit of the dead man whose headstone he broke attacked and killed him that night.(no title)

There lived in Dunmanway about 100 years ago a family named Cox. They were very much opposed to Catholicity. There were two priests in Dunmanway then. The Parish Priest used say Mass on Sundays in town and the Curate used go to Togher. One Sunday the Coxes caught the P.P. and kept him locked up so that he was unable to celebrate Mass.
