If a mountain looks blue and nearer than usual we will have rain. If we are going to have a gale the dust on the road will rise and make the "Fairy winds".
A sign of good weather is if the birds fly high. - There are many beliefs in Ireland about the weather. If wild geese are seen flying from the West it is a sign of rain.
