Priestley's land Castle-Park, Kantury, Barony of Duhallow County of Cork, there is a big field called "Glassford". It is called that name because when the men were coming from Cork with the glass to roof the "Old Court" in Kantury, County Cork, they were drunk. They let the glass fall and broke it. The glass fell into the Brogeen river, and that is why it is called "Glassford",
