    Wednesday and Friday were the unlucky days for getting married on.
    There is a tradition which says, that the onion should be planted on the shortest day in the year, and pulled on the longest day in the year.
    There is another tradition, that if it rains on Saint Swithin's day; which is on July 15th, that it will rain for forty days.
