A light has been seen by people flashing from one fort to another like signals. The Danes are supposed to have built them ; and people are supposed to have lived in them.
Music has often been heard by people at Kilmacow, Kanturk Co. Cork on the eve of a person's death.
The house of Mr. Priestly is built on a fort at Castle-park, Kanturk. It was built by a man named Gilchrist. When he was building it, an old man came and told him not to build the house ; because it would be felled every night and it so happened. He met the old man again ; and the old man told him to build his house where a feather when flung into the air would land, but he would not do this.
