    In my farm, which is situated in Paal West, Kanturk, Co. Cork, there are about three acres of land under potatoes each year. In the spring-time my father prepares the ground by ploughing. Then he harrows it and he opens drills with a drill-plough. He puts manure on the drills, and then the potatoes are put in between the drills. Then the drills are closed.
