    was sold in 1703. The Buyers were the Hollow Blade Company.
    The walls of the towers at the corners of the Castle were four feet thick. The gateways were at the western and eastern sides. The walls surrounding the court yard were about twenty feet high. Probably there was a castle in the centre like Dromsicane. At the south side is a well, it is believed much treasure was thrown before the arrival of Broghills army from Knockbrack July 28th 1651. This army broke in the west side. The drawbridge was on the Southern side. Cannon balls found in the moat are still to be seen.
