Mr. Patrick O'Mahony (Dairyman), Kilbolane, Milford, still makes ordinary baskets of twigs. Mr. John Kelly, Blacksmith, made spades & gates. - Tallow candles were made in the houses & the pith of the rush was used as a wick. The people used moulds. Mr. Meade was a weaver. Mr. Ned McCarthy's father was a cooper & he made barrels & churns.
