    occasion.
The ruins of St. Molagga’s Churches a Molagga and Labbamolagga are still to be seen but the cill at Bawnanooneeney no trace remains. The site of the cill is partially enclosed by bushes and up to some years ago it was used a s burying place for unbaptised children. The stones marking the graves are visible today.
In connection with Labbamolagga graveyard there is something worthy of note:- Many years ago (I could not find the number definitely) a human skull was found in the graveyard. Whether it was part of a body that had been buried in the graveyard, or where it came from no one knows nor could it be identified as the skull of a man or a woman.
In many occasions the skull was buried in the graveyard, but just as often it was found again on the surface, shortly after burial, and all attempts to bury it ceased. However a place of seclusion was found for it. A hole was made in the graveyard wall, the skull was put into it, and the opening closed with a slab of stone.
It is in that resting place today.
