- Bird LoreThe most interesting occupation during the springtime is to watch the movements of the birds and the way they build their nests. There are many kind of birds in my home district such as the robin, cuckoo, sparrow, rook, jackdaw, magpie and owl.Theses birds have different ways of building their nests. Their nests are very nice and comfortable when they have them fully made. The robin builds her nest in a mossy bank and puts leaves around it so as to make it comfortable. Then she lays three or four tiny white eggs and then she sits on them until they are hatched. When the young ones appear the robin will be very busy providing food for them.
