    Whooping Cough
    Get a ferret to drink some milk and give the remainder to the patient suffering from whooping cough. Glycerine put in milk is also good for whooping cough.
    Corns
    An ivy leaf soaked in vinegar and applied to the corn will soon cure it. White bread soaked in vinegar is another cure.
    Colds
    Onions boiled in milk are good for a cold. To sip either cabbage or turnip water will take away a cold.
    Boils
    One of the best cures for a boil is to mix soap and sugar together and apply it twice daily until cured .
    Nettle Stings
    The sticky juice of the dock leaf will take away the pain of a nettle sting.
