    draughts. Gently rub with linseed oil or goose grease.
    Burns.
    A good cure for burns is liquid paraffin. Olive oil if rubbed on immediately will usually prevent blisters. Apply soda on the burn and pour vinegar on it. Extra strong cold tea if applied to the burn will prevent blisters.
    Toothache
    A cure for toothache is to hold a frog in your mouth. Another cure is to rub mustard on the gum.
    Thrush.
    A cure for thrush is to rub honey and borax on it.
    Hiccough.
    A cure for hiccough is to drink nine sips of water without drawing your breath.
    Corns.
    A cure for corns is to put some loaf bread in vinegar for twenty four hours and then put on top of the corn.
    Chilblains.
