An elder gun can be made by getting a piece of elder about 6 inches long. Bore a hole right through from end to end. This is done easily as its inside is soft, now get a piece of rubber about 8 inches long and tie it to one end of the stick.
Get a little bit of slender twig about about 3 inches long. To use the gun pull the rubber to its full length keeping hold of the twig. Let both rubber and twig go and the twig will fly a good distance.
