    that drank water there at night always got frightened by some object which the drivers could not see. There were stepping stones for people walking on foot. The contract for this bridge was taken by the late Mr. Canty of Carrigaline. The Ceecán [?] is a short cut about a 1/2 mile long and connecting the Bayview Road with the Kilnagleary Road. The Fountainstown Road is one of the many roads leading to Fountainstown. At a cross on this road called "Dave Mc Cruaig's Cross" a heap of stones are erected as a monument to a soldier who was killed there long ago. When some people are passing this cross they throw a stone on top of the heap. There are many old paths in our school district. The Path Of The Wood goes along the top of Fahalea Wood. The Bótair Ní [?] is another old path joining the Board Of Works Road. Another old path called "Precan [?] na Cré" leads
