- The farm animals are cows, horses, pigs, chickens, hens, ducks, dogs, cats, calves, sheep, lambs and a donkey.
The names of the cows are Starry, Good, Strawberry, White leg, Manning, Long legs, Purty, Daisy, and Lily.
When the people are driving cows they say how, how, to call the calves they say suck, suck. To drive the pig they say cushea, cushea. To call chickens they say chick, chick. To call hens they say tuck, tuck. and to call the ducks they say feen, feen. For dogs they whistle, and for cats they say puss, puss.
The cowhouse has got a slated roof and it is called the cow stall. Some of the cows in our farm are tied with chains and others tied between two irons these are called stalls.(continues on next page)- Collector
