    a fort in Knockfierna. It is said that a treasure hidden there. When anybody tries for it a bull appears and drives them away. There is a fort in Ballyroe, Ballingarry. It is surrounded with water and trees. There is a double bank entrance into it. In the middle there is a giants grave. At the corner of it, there is the ruins of an old house. When the owners drew away the stones of the old house, a churn of nuts was found. It is said that if the sign of the cross was made over it, the nuts would turn into gold. In later years, when the owners were digging the outer bank, a Gold jug was found. The Gold jug was carried home. That night a pedlar came to the house and asked for a
