  1. There are six forts in the school district. There is one in Mr. Kennedys land in Callow, one in Joseph Shephard's land in Callow, one in Patrick Culhane's land in Ballintredide, one in Patrick Kennedy's land in Ballyvogue, one in Michael Cahills land in Ballyvogue also. The name these are called forts, and they are in view of one another.
    They are all in circular shape except one. The one in Michael Cahill's is supposed are [?] to be of a different shape to any other one in Ireland. Old p[eople say they heard music in these forts. These forts were
